What is the purpose of this product?

This stringer makes it very easy to build a staircase. Simply attach a 2 in x 10 in piece of wood or a Pylex aluminum step to the stringers.

How do I choose the right number of steps for my stringboards?

The number of steps on your stringers depends on the height between your two floor levels. Refer to the table in the image section.

How do I install this product?

Screw Pylex wooden or aluminum treads to the stringers, then fasten them to the floor. Our installation video will guide you through the construction of your staircase.
