Pylex excels in the supply of essential accessories for deck, porch and fence construction. Over the years, Pylex has become a separate entity, broadening its horizons by investing in the research and development of innovative products, which are available in numerous sales outlets. Every year, new products are developed and marketed thanks to the hard work of Pylex employees and their constant desire to surpass themselves, with the aim of offering the best. Today, Pylex offers more than 200 high-quality products specializing in deck-fence construction. To pursue this mission of excellence, we are looking for someone to act as :

Sales Manager

Permanent / Full-time

Main functions

  • Plan, direct and evaluate sales department activities;
  • Recruit, coordinate, train and manage sales team personnel;
  • Supervise sales teams across Canada;
  • Organize regional sales operations;
  • Establish sales policies and procedures;
  • Lead sales teams in developing business relationships with corporate customers;
  • Manage the negotiation of commercial agreements;
  • Work with the marketing department to implement and deploy marketing strategies;
  • Establish strategic planning for new product lines;
  • Be responsible for the development, administration and coordination of the Canadian division’s growth efforts;
  • Be responsible for building strong relationships with corporate customers;

Other conditions : 

  • Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week;
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m;
  • Possibility of working remotely with occasional office presence;
  • Group RRSP;
  • Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP);
  • In-house health insurance. Each employee is entitled to $250/year for health care;
  • Competitive compensation based on experience;

Skills sought

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, diploma in business studies or relevant experience;

  • Previous experience in leading a remote sales team would be an asset;

Warehouse Clerk

Permanent / Full-time

Main functions

  • Receive all incoming shipments, from unloading trucks to recording information in the system;
  • Process incoming shipments. This includes checking for accuracy, updating inventory records and organizing products in the warehouse;
  • Manage outbound shipments;
  • Load trucks, prepare paperwork and ensure all products are properly labeled;
  • Work with a lift;
  • Prepare orders;
  • Manage inventory;
  • Warehouse maintenance;

Skills sought

  • Any training combined with relevant experience will be considered;
  • Previous forklift experience, preferably with the necessary certifications (asset);
  • Previous experience in receiving and inventory management is an asset;
  • Computer literate and comfortable with warehouse management systems;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to lift and move heavy loads; Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
